RJ-4100 Falcon Graphics is switchable
between dye & pigmented inks, and features a
revolutionary ink supply system, comprising 4 ink
cassettes of 220ml dye or pigmented ink. The
printer automatically senses the ink type being
loaded. Ink levels are guarded automatically.
Mounting a new set of cassettes takes only
seconds: no mess, no wasted prints, no loss of
time. By far
not the least of the Falcon printer's assets is
its economic ink usage. A blow-up of the front
page of this leaflet to a 1m2 surface
consumes 3.4ml (dye) / 3.98ml (pigmented) ink in
720 DPI mode. In 360 DPI mode, ink consumption is
exactly half! |

| The media handling system, which
accepts roll and cut-sheet media, incorporates an
advanced pressure roller assembly which
guarantees that your prints are free of transport
marks. The Mutoh RJ-4100 is built around a powerful 64-bit RISC processor, eager to treat data on the fly. Network connectivity is offered via an optional Fast Ethernet 100Base-TX plug-in board. The Falcon Graphics' user friendly keyboard gives direct access to all key functions such as: media weight, output resolution, print modes, roll/cut-sheet selection, sheet-off, cancel and cleaning. Long-life piezo electric heads print minuscule TRUE 720 DPI dots, assuring photo-realistic quality images as well as crisp line-art output. A wide varity of professional RIP software manufacturers have developed a driver for the Falcon Graphics.
